THE BIG PICTURE

 

I can remember when I was ill in hospital, I was in and out of hospital, going through a lot of tests and procedures and not knowing where God was in all of this.

 

It was not till I was recovering at home and I looked back, that I realised that God was with me n a very real way.

 

There were times when I could talk of my faith and my love of Jesus, not in an intrusive way, just a word of love or just to hold a hand or a prayer.  I only know he gave me the strength to hang in there.  Life can come to a sudden halt while you are in hospital, it gives you time to realise life will not go on forever, and that we do not see the whole picture, only God does.

 

Had it not been for my friends, family and my faith in God’s love, I am sure my strength would have failed me.

 

Not long ago God gave me a picture of a large tapestry, God lowered me to see a golden thread that he said will be what you have woven in life.  One day I will see the big picture, till that day, I just feel so proud and honoured to be part of God’s tapestry of life.
