| As well as weekly collections at Peafield Church which go to support the work and witness of St Edmund's Church, we have a lighthouse which we use to collect monies from our mission work. This is filled not only by the adults and children of Peafield, but increasingly by our wonderful friends of St Edmund's. Over the last year through the lighthouse collection we have supported Ben and Marian as they help to build a clinic in the King's Village in Ghana. We have continued to help Brother James with his ministry to children in India and recently we bought a parachute so that the children can play whilst learning to worship God. We have also sponsored a child through the Compassion charity. His name is Jhonny and he is 7 years old. He lives in the southeast of Santa Cruz in Bolivia and regularly sends us letters and photos to update us of his progress. As well as some of the mission work mentioned above we also support all emergency appeals and charities. Many of our supported charities and organisations websites can be found on the Useful Links page if you would like to find out more information. | | |
