The Peafield Church was planted in 1992 under the direction of the Revd. David Steven as an effort by St Edmund Church to reach out into the wider community. Peafield Church was inaugurated on Sunday 10th October 1992 and has met each Sunday since then in the Peafield School Hall. Twelve volunteers went from the Local Anglican Church (St Edmund, King & Martyr) and were quickly joined by members of the local Methodist Church.

Since 1992 the incumbent and staff of the mother church have changed but Peafield Church is still run by Ian and Margaret Munro who were among the initial 12. The church has developed over the years into an informal family oriented church, welcoming all ages. The ages range from Ben, our newest member who is only weeks old to Daisy our oldest member who is 99 years old.

We enjoy a less formal style of worship with preaching support from both St Edmund's and the Methodist Circuit.
